Once you’re in the volunteer pool, watch for messages with specific assignments and links to snatch them up.
The volunteer pool form will close on Wednesday, October 9.
Kansas City Public Library requires festival volunteers to be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.

Volunteers generally commit 2-4 hours, depending on their availability and interest, and complete a variety of simple tasks supporting festival staff, which may include greeting, ticket taking, ushering, giving directions, organizing a book-signing line, and communicating with Library housekeeping. The festival provides an orientation, t-shirt, lunch, and beverages for volunteers.
